Southern Nevada Health District has very specific requirements for permanent makeup technicians in Las Vegas. A minimum of 6 months training is required in Las Vegas. You cannot obtain your license (body art card) and legally provide permanent makeup or microblading without approved training. Approved training includes doing a 6 month minimum program by a licensed, inspected and approved training facility. The training facility helps you get your apprenticeship card with SNHD before you start your program. Once you graduate, you exchange your SNHD apprenticeship student card for your actual body art card which is technically your license.
